Kory Judd is the general manager of the Richmond Refinery, a role he assumed in June 2013. He is responsible for ensuring the safe, reliable, efficient and environmentally sound operation of the refinery.
Judd joined Chevron’s Richmond Technology Center in 1986 as a process engineer in the Engineering Technology Department. He transferred to the Salt Lake Refinery in 1988 and progressed through refinery positions of increasing responsibility at Salt Lake.
In 2001 Judd moved to the Richmond Refinery as a refinery business manager. In 2006 he moved to the Pascagoula Refinery as the maintenance manager, and in 2007 he assumed the role of operations manager.
Judd moved into a commercial role in 2009 as the general manager, Value Chain Optimization – Americas West. In 2013 he returned to the Richmond Refinery as assistant refinery manager, and in June of that year, he was named general manager of the facility.
Judd is a native of Price, Utah. He graduated from the University of Utah in 1986 with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering.
