As corporate citizens, we make more than just financial contributions to our community. To the employees at Chevron Richmond, giving back to the community is part of the job.
Chevron Volunteer Week
Chevron Volunteer Week is a partnership between Chevron and the Volunteer Centers of the Bay Area where employees volunteer to help complete projects at local Bay Area nonprofit agencies.
Through Chevron’s Humankind Program, employees choose how they want to make a difference: by offering their time, making a pledge or requesting a company grant match for their volunteer hours or donations. Our employees are making a difference in the community by contributing their services to more than 30 local organizations.
Chevron Richmond employees volunteer for many different types of projects in the community, such as preparing and serving dinners at the local soup kitchens and joining with local environmental agencies to clean up local creeks and coastlines. They are also active in local schools, from mentoring engineering academy students to providing job shadowing for students who visit Chevron Richmond.
